Trafalgar

SITTING on the main square of the Costa de la Luz's prettiest town, Trafalgar has become something of an institution. Surrounded by architectural gems and a romantic palm tree lined square, dining here is charm personified.

Regularly upgraded, its dozen or so pavement tables (which you cannot book in advance) are some of the most sought after in southern Spain in the heat of summer. My advice - book a table in the main restaurant early, and if there is a spare table outside when you arrive, grab it and cancel inside.
